Lately I have been studying faith. It is the strength that we have to do anything in life, from the little to the big.

I have faith this little blog will do some good out there.  I have faith that I can do all that I need to do each day- and that may mean not doing one thing off my To Do list.    Faith in God is also what makes me take the big leaps in life, what pushes me through death of loved ones, and into uncharted territory in life.

Pretty much faith is needed for everything and makes it all doable!

Ether 12:6 is one of the most famous scriptures in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

faith is things which are hoped for

In this scripture Moroni, an ancient american prophet stated “I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive not witness until after the trial of your faith.”

When we hope for something, it isn’t like a wish or a maybe.  In ancient scriptural language they used it as a trust , something you could plan on.

When we exercise faith like that, an assumption or trust that things will go the way they are meant to, we don’t need to worry or wish that it will happen- we know it will.  We are planning on it!

Lately I have used my faith to trust in relationships.  To know that faith can change hearts.

hearts are changed through faith

King Benjamin explained that when we are born of Christ, and become his children through baptism, our hearts are changed.

I have seen so many examples of this, people who are lost and frustrated, taking the leap of faith in Christ and changing their lives, their hearts.  It is a wonderful thing, to know that Christ can work on my heart that it too can be softened and enjoy life through him.

I love the peace and joy I get from the gospel.  I hope these printables lift you us as well.
