I love that winter is nearing
Daffodils are one of my favorite plants because, among the snow, I see little stocks already shooting out! My front yard promises that spring is coming each year when I see my daffodils grow. They seem to say, “Move over winter, your turn is up.” I couldn’t agree more!
Some winters last forever, but yes spring always comes. What a great analogy for life? Light will come, warmth and happiness will come.
For my next printable home decor, I summarized a talk from Pres. James E. Faust, The Healing Power of Forgiveness. I love Pres. Faust, and could still
He talked about a mass shooting that took place in the peaceful Amish town in Pennsylvania. The Amish people who were families of the victims, showed love and kindness, and frankly forgave. They attending the shooters family, and even gave financial aid to them.
One resident said, “We were all speaking the same language, and not just English, but a language of caring, a language of community, and a language of service, and yes, a language of forgiveness.”
Anger is the natural response, but we learn that “forgiveness is freeing up and putting to better use the energy once consumed by holding grudges…”
Why not use our energy forgiving, and healing our hearts, then creating resentment, anger and in our hearts?
I was thinking of my little girls room when I created this printable. I want her to see this each morning. She is a beautiful soul and needs to know how beautiful she is each morning!
